Simple Adversity

It is really quite amazing what you can do when you put yourself into an extraordinary situation and find out that you can do more than you thought possible.
This has been a first for me when it comes to working with isometric pixel art. I found it this endeavor to be extremely challenging but at the same time very rewarding. I learned many things as I progressed. At times it was very slow like taking baby steps, but as I researched and learned more about this form of art, I started taking off. If you notice the artwork within the artwork that is located above the bed, you will find a person fighting off a dinosaur or dragon-like creature. This symbolizes to me the man’s constant effort to overcome adversity. I personally identify with this because of the many challenges life has confronted me with. The artwork as a whole took many hours to accomplish and it left me with a sense of personal satisfaction of being able to generate this pixel art. I enjoy doing this type of work, pushing myself to see what I can learn, whether it be through artwork, computer tweaking, or solving life’s never-ending problems. Though it may seem simple to others, the artwork was very difficult to generate.
I really enjoyed this project and discovered another medium for expressing myself. It was so much fun that I lost track of time. Thank You for giving me the opportunity to participate in such an exciting and self satisfying project.
